Obituary for Robert Donald Ree

It is with great sadness that we have to announce the passing of Robert Donald Ree (Bob) born Jan 11th, 1940 - Sep 16th, 2023. He leaves behind his 3 children Bobby, Sean and Cathy-Ann Ree (Ken Hembling Jr).
6 grandchildren Shirene Ree-Hembling, Kenny Ree-Hembling (Amber), Josh (Kaylie) Causey, Skyler Causey, Seanette Ree-Lagace, Brandon Ree-Lagace and 5 great grandchildren. He also leaves behind his many friends/extended family and his loving, caring neighbors of the Kootenays. Bob was predeceased by his parents Percy and Hilda Ree (nee Rowe) and 11 siblings.

Bob was a member of the Rossland Eagles for many, many years. He was an active citizen who contributed many countless hours of volunteer work.

In Bob's earlier years, he loved hunting in the mountains and fishing the rivers, streams & lakes. Bob loved the scenery in BC.

If Bob found something broken, you can bet that he would find a fix for it;
he was such a magiver.

Bob loved to garden and it showed. He had limited garden space, and if you walked by his place, you would see veggies, flowers, and an endless amount of raspberries. He had a green thumb, and it showed.
(Lots of oxygen hose to get around his yard, no oxygen hose was going to stop him from his gardening)

Bob's love for his dogs, Buddy and Cody,
contributed to these extra last few years of his life...not to mention trying to win the lottery. He loved those "boys" so much. When Bob could no longer walk them and struggled to care for them fully, he knew it was time to say good bye. The "boys" will be with family members on our property and will be loved just as much. Rosslands "thieving dogs" have left the city.
Bob lived a full life and had lots of love to share.
When one journey ends, another adventure begins.
RIP Dad our love and memories will live on❤
Thank you for everything you taught and shared with us.
