Rhonda Frances Jackman
May 13, 1957- July 26, 2023
It is with sadness we announce the sudden passing of Rhonda Frances Jackman nee (Wright)
She is survived by her three children Roxanna Riley (Wayne Postnikoff), Ryan Riley, James Riley. Two sisters Dana O’ Brien and Carla Boekestyn. 5 grand children Syerra, Nathan, Paddy, Jasmine and McKenna, and two great grandchildren Edyn and Zephyr. She is predeceased by her husband Tom Riley in 1995. Her mother Cecilia Wright in 2010 and her sister Tara Wand (2013) and her father Robert Wright (2019).
Rhonda lived life to her fullest she became a young mom at 16, married her soul mate Tom in 1981 after only 13 days, which all thought was crazy. Rhonda had a few jobs in life most revolved around cooking and waitressing.
Rhonda’s passion in life and her true craft was knitting, she was extremely talented and everyone who was blessed with her creations felt very loved and appreciated, and received many compliments on their afghans, sweaters and blankets. Rhonda and Tom also had a love of softball and together played on many beer leagues until dads passing, usually Rhonda would have to sign waivers for the league as she was notorious for not wearing shoes on the field, heck usually wore sandals even in the snow.
At Rhonda’s request she was cremated, and a party will be thrown in her memory sometime soon as she didn’t like funerals. So, raise a glass to her as this was our mom.
We are truly blessed for all our local support of friends, family via emails, calls and cards and beautiful flowers, special visits and goodies.
