Jamie George Plotnikoff
It is with broken hearts and profound sorrow that we mourn the sudden passing of Jamie George Plotnikoff on June 11, 2023. Jamie was born on August 7, 1980.
Jamie will be remembered for his loving, kindred soul that touched many hearts. He was compassionate, creative, witty, and had the ability to make people laugh and feel special.
Jamie was raised in Castlegar B.C. and attended Stanley Humphries Secondary School. He later moved to New Westminster and worked for Pepsico in the production department operating a forklift for many years. His latest venture was working the reefer pad at Shambhala music festival in the food department which he always looked forward to.
Jamie’s passion was music. He especially loved playing his guitar. One of his favourite musicians was Dimebag Darrell of Pantera. He also sported a little Bruce Hornsby on the piano and created many of his own tunes. He truly loved and appreciated all music. He enjoyed quadding, fishing, hiking, cooking, landscaping and artwork.
Left to mourn are his parents George and Lydia, brother Jed, his girlfriend Stasia Rezansoff, his puppers Benny along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and his many friends.
A celebration of life to be held in July.
